These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the SubscriBee iOS application and the website at subscribee.app. By using SubscriBee, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
SubscriBee helps you track personal subscriptions, estimate monthly spend, view renewals on a calendar, and receive optional local reminders. It is a personal productivity tool — not a bank, payment processor, or financial adviser.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws of your country. If you use SubscriBee on behalf of someone else, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
3. Your content and accuracy
You are responsible for the subscription information you enter or import. Amounts, dates, and currencies shown in the app depend on what you provide and on exchange rates when conversion is used. Always confirm charges with your bank or the service provider before making decisions.
4. Free and Pro features
SubscriBee offers a free tier with a limit on the number of tracked subscriptions, and an optional paid Pro unlock (currently offered as a lifetime purchase via Apple) that removes that limit and unlocks additional features such as advanced analytics, custom categories, and export. Feature availability may change; the in-app paywall is authoritative for what is included at purchase time.
5. Purchases and Apple
Paid features are billed by Apple through the App Store. Purchases, restores, refunds, and billing disputes are subject to Apple’s terms and policies. We do not control Apple’s payment systems.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it except where permitted by law, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
7. Intellectual property
SubscriBee, its name, bee mark, and app design are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as allowed by the App Store license.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that reminders will always fire, that imports will be complete or error-free, or that spend totals will match your bank statements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of SubscriBee. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for Pro in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you only use the free tier).
10. Termination
You may stop using SubscriBee at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app or change features. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
